WELCOME to Hoveton Great Broad Restoration Project
who are sponsoring a COUNTY hare for Break Charity
The Hoveton Great Broad Restoration Project is a £4.5 Million lake restoration project, led by Natural England and supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund and LIFE.
It is one of the most ambitious projects of its type undertaken in the country! Taking lessons from previous projects in the broads and applying novel techniques and cutting-edge technology, we aim to transform this muddy, silt-filled lake into an idyllic aquatic haven for wildlife.
Hoveton Great Broad is internationally recognised as being a site of special scientific interest and falls within the Bure Marshes Nature Reserve.
