City Trail Hare - Boudicca was Britain’s first heroic figure, evoking a revolt against the Romans.

Over 2000 years ago she gathered people from East Anglia and other regions to raze Colchester and London to the ground.

Before battle, a hare was released from the folds of her tunic, its fleeing run a prophecy of the battle to come.

The hare remains a symbol of our past, a link to our roots and warrior spirit.
